Education & Capacity Building Program

The Education & Capacity Program at Hope and Care for Development (HCD) is dedicated to expanding access to quality education, strengthening skills development, and empowering individuals to build brighter, more self-reliant futures.

HCD recognizes education as a fundamental human right and a key pathway to breaking cycles of poverty. Through this program, we support both children and adults by offering learning opportunities that enhance literacy, numeracy, critical thinking, and practical skills. Our activities include adult education classes, school support initiatives, teacher training, and leadership development for youth and women.

We work closely with local communities, schools, and authorities to create safe, inclusive learning environments where every learner—especially vulnerable groups—can thrive. The program also integrates education with other development areas such as health, nutrition, and livelihoods, providing a holistic foundation for long-term growth.
